As the Republican National Convention is (finally) preparing to get started, Twitter is blowing up with tweets about protestors, stormy weather and journalists anxious to get some actual content flowing. Ron Paul spiked up on Twitter as he made his appearance on the convention floor, many attendants chanting in support of him (apparently there was a little chanting match between Paul and Romney supporters–the win went to Paul), and demanding that he be allowed to speak.
2. #Dictated
Romney pollster Neil Newhouse told Buzzfeed’s Ben Smith, ”We’re not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact checkers,” in regards to the alleged inaccuarcies (pointed out by several fact-checking organizations) in the campaign’s ads attacking Obama over welfare.
3. #Bing and #votebieber
The young Canadian sensation is never far from your Twitter feed, no matter how carefully you choose your followers. Today the beliebers are declaring to the Twitterverse that JB deserves to win the 2012 MTV VMA Bing Most Share-Worthy Video award. However, a threat looms in the distance in the form of boy-band One Direction. Godspeed, Justin!

world. The app came out several months ago, but it’s been making waves
online this week.
Using my own Facebook page as a guinea pig, I found myself convicted 161 times, in 73 countries, for 13 crimes. Literally dodging a bullet, the
contents of my profiles weren’t tawdry enough to get me beheaded or shot dead, but I would be killed by extremists 22 times, sexually assaulted 16 times, imprisoned 58 times and beaten 73 times–and that’s just the beginning of the terror.
