Ask Doctor K, the health-oriented column published in newspapers around the county, now finds itself as a blog – a much better fit if you ask the many millions of Americans who go online for health news.

At the site, Dr. Anthony Komaroff answers readers queries ranging from “Do public toilet seats pose a health risk? to “Is napping good for you?” to “What is the Mediterranean diet?” Doctor K, a practicing physician and Harvard Medical School professor, formulates a thorough response to a question each day.

Navigating around the blog is a user-friendly experience, and he does a good job communicating health and medical information to the general public in his posts. You’ll probably find yourself clicking on a few short questions/topics on the home page and discovering lots of information you didn’t know before.
