Here's a site that parents and educators could find useful to explain health to kids and teens. The problem is, the free content is limited. A subscription is required to access a good chunk of the information. BrainPop's health section is filled with videos, activities, experiments, fun facts, and quizzes. We took a look at one of sections on Asthma. There's a cartoon video that really breaks it down to the basics for kids and teens.

Parents and educators can also use the activities section for some of the subjects to continue working on the subject– for example there are graphic sheets already created to break down asthma triggers, symptoms, and treatments. It's a neat website but only three health videos are available for free– and you'd have to pay $85 to $95 dollars for full access.

There is a section for educators that is free, but you do need to register. The educators section has free health lesson plans, activities, graphic organizers, curriculum calendars and plenty more. Terrific resource for teachers who want to get hands on and creative with their students.

But if you're looking for free content– there's not much on there.
